Clarence City Council (CCC) was in need of a comprehensive disaster recovery and backup solution that would facilitate a lean IT model. ITConsult was able to recommend and assist in the implementation and staff training of an onQ turnkey appliance by Quorum. The solution was implemented in only few hours with zero interruption to production systems. The Quorum solution once installed began protection of CCC’s critical infrastructure instantly with a turnkey appliance based approach that required a minimal amount of resources (power, cooling, human resource etc).
Through Quorum’s Turnkey approach Quorum was able to save on capital vs a traditional replicated approach whilst maintaining the ability to recovery data and go further than just backup with fast recovery times and low recovery points.
